Role Overview
As a Full Stack Engineer at OCBC, you will build and maintain applications and services that impact thousands of users daily. Working within a dynamic fintech environment, your contributions will fuel innovative banking products and development efficiency. This position encourages growth, collaborative problem-solving, and a DevOps mindset to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain scalable software services and applications.
- Automate processes across Windows, macOS, and Linux servers.
- Design and construct RESTful APIs and user interfaces.
- Convert product requirements into effective technical implementations.
- Collaborate closely with team members and various stakeholders within OCBC.
- Adapt deliverables according to evolving product specifications and business needs.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in Java programming and development.
- Proficiency in at least one additional programming language such as C#, Kotlin, or Golang.
- Strong grasp of Microservices and Cloud Native design patterns.
- Experience designing and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Native platforms including Kubernetes or Docker.
- Familiarity with JavaScript and front-end frameworks like React or AngularJS.
- Knowledge or background in mobile application development is advantageous.
- Minimum of five years’ experience in professional software development roles.
