Assistant Manager - Store Operations

About the Role

Join Circle K as an Assistant Manager at our Colquitt, Georgia location (Store 2723896). This full-time, onsite role offers the chance to build a career in management within a fast-paced, energetic retail environment. You will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily station store operations while leading and motivating a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with hiring, supervising, and guiding store staff to complete daily operational tasks.
• Oversee bookkeeping, merchandising, and maintenance of high operational standards.
• Deliver fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers while setting a positive example for the team.
• Ensure consistent onsite attendance and adherence to safety and security protocols.
• Execute the company's elevated food program standards effectively.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably with supervisory or management responsibilities.
• Proficiency in recruitment processes including interviewing and hiring.
• Strong cash handling and bookkeeping capabilities.
• Ability to delegate, follow up, and communicate plans clearly.
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to advocate and empathize with both staff and customers.
• High school diploma or college degree is preferred.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand or walk for up to 8 hours during shifts.
• Capable of lifting or carrying up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead intermittently.
• Occasionally lift or carry objects up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level.
• Push or pull with up to 20 pounds of force.
• Bend at the waist with occasional twisting for up to one hour per shift.
• Perform tasks involving hand coordination and reach, including climbing ladders when necessary.
