Internship Overview

We are offering a hands-on internship for aspiring video editors eager to work full-time onsite in Chennai. This role involves creating engaging video content tailored for social media platforms including Reels and YouTube, ensuring a cohesive, premium brand aesthetic, and collaborating closely with the founding team during shoots.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit video content such as Reels and YouTube videos by incorporating compelling hooks, appropriate pacing, subtitles, sound, and brand-specific graphics.
• Maintain a high-quality, consistent visual style across all video assets.
• Provide quick turnarounds to align with the brand's publication schedule.
• Systematically organize and manage the video footage library to prevent data loss.
• Collaborate personally with the founder and production team during filming to ensure seamless editing possibilities.

Skills & Requirements

• Applicants should already have a portfolio or showreel demonstrating their video editing work.
• Deep understanding of engaging hooks, viewer retention strategies, and editing pace beyond basic cuts.
• Proficiency in at least one professional video editing suite such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut.
• Ability to work swiftly, accept feedback constructively, and take full responsibility for deliverables.
• Not suitable for those requiring detailed briefs for every task, prone to missing deadlines, or those seeking a passive internship experience.
• Additional valued capabilities include motion graphics (Adobe After Effects or similar), thumbnail creation, color grading, sound design, and using AI tools in post-production.

Candidate Eligibility

Only applicants who meet all the following criteria will be considered:

• Availability for a full-time, in-office internship in Chennai.
• Can commence the internship anytime between August 20, 2026, and September 24, 2026.
• Commitment to a full duration of six months.
• Possess relevant video editing skills and a genuine interest in the role.

Compensation and Benefits

• The monthly stipend ranges from INR 10,000 to INR 25,000, based on the strength and depth of the candidate's portfolio.
• Interns will receive a certificate and a letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the program.
