Job Overview
As a Delivery Expert, you will play a key role in promptly delivering delicious pizzas to customers. Excellent communication skills, a positive demeanor, and professional appearance aligned with company standards are vital. You will be the front face of the brand, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and courteous service.
Key Responsibilities
- Navigate delivery routes efficiently using maps and manage deliveries across various terrains like multi-story buildings and private residences.
- Work both independently and collaboratively, performing repetitive tasks under pressure while adhering to quality standards and making ethical decisions swiftly.
- Assist with inventory by stocking items from delivery areas to storage and coolers, including completing related documentation.
- Handle incoming telephone orders quickly and accurately to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Perform basic arithmetic for transactions; confidently handle monetary change.
- Operate computer equipment such as keyboards, touchscreens, and foot pedals.
Physical Demands
- Primarily stand during shifts; be prepared for prolonged standing periods.
- Navigate work surfaces including ceramic tile and linoleum floors; reach work surfaces 36" to 4" high.
- Assist with unloading bulk deliveries weighing up to 50 pounds two to three times a week.
- Occasionally perform physical movements including crouching, squatting, bending, and stair climbing.
- Utilize hand-eye coordination for pizza dough shaping, box folding, and using tools like pizza peels and cutters.
Qualifications
- Minimum age of 18 with a valid driver's license.
- At least one year of driving experience required.
- Access to a properly insured vehicle suitable for deliveries.
- Successful clearance of Criminal Background Check.
- Pass Motor Vehicle Record Check in line with company policies.
