Role Summary

As a Solution Engineer at the Microsoft Innovation Hub, you will blend technical and business insights to create end-to-end solutions, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Your responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to assess client requirements and offering strategic, customized recommendations. You'll implement effective AI transformation solutions while optimizing technology integrations. Leveraging consulting abilities, you'll promote collaboration among technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and efficient operations. This role requires onsite presence at Microsoft facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver technical engagements such as strategy meetings, envisioning workshops, architecture design sessions, and rapid prototyping to showcase capabilities, evaluate risks, and finalize technology selections.
• Lead AI transformation efforts by being a trusted advisor on AI platforms and trends, guiding customers through design thinking workshops to prioritize use cases and drive impactful change.
• Define and execute strategic visions for AI initiatives aligned with customer needs and organizational goals, coordinating cross-functional teams toward success.
• Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance solution architectures tailored to customer requirements, identifying and prioritizing opportunities through consultative practices.
• Promote holistic integration across cloud platforms, identifying synergies to optimize cross-platform AI transformation efforts within the Innovation Hub.
• Continuously deepen expertise in AI technologies including AI Foundry and Fabric Data platform, focusing on AI management, security, real-time intelligence, and application architecture while staying current with market trends and participating in technical communities.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Over 10 years of experience in technical pre-sales or technical consulting OR Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least 5 years of experience OR equivalent qualifications.
• Preferred: Proven background as an Enterprise Architect managing large-scale, complex technology solutions aligned to business needs, with platform integration experience.
• Demonstrated consultative selling skills, providing strategic guidance tailored to complex technical environments.
• Experience in strategic facilitation with expertise in requirements gathering, prioritization, impact measurement, and risk identification focused on business value realization.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying AI solutions within cloud and hybrid infrastructures, knowledgeable in AI-related Azure services and industry best practices.
• Relevant industry certifications are advantageous.
• Demonstrated capability in design thinking, ideation, and problem framing methodologies.
