Position Overview
We invite motivated individuals with a solid foundation in computer science to join our team in Dublin. This role involves designing, developing, and testing software that advances MongoDB products while tackling intricate technical challenges. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and delivering innovative features to support our global user base are key aspects of the position. Candidate Profile
- Currently pursuing or possessing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Recent graduates up to Summer 2026 or professionals with up to 18 months of professional experience.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as C++, Go, Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript, Node.js or comparable high-level languages.
- History of writing and testing software, whether through internships, personal projects, coding competitions, or academic research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and test software components using high-level programming languages including those frequently used at MongoDB.
- Design, implement, and maintain new product features utilizing your expertise in algorithms and software design.
- Lead software initiatives aimed at improving user experience with MongoDB deployments.
- Investigate and resolve issues by balancing team objectives and problem contexts.
- Maintain a blend of software delivery and research activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups to deliver high-quality features to end users.
