Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models to accurately reconstruct electrical networks from imperfect datasets using deep learning and classical ML techniques.
• Develop and optimize training pipelines to minimize manual effort and accelerate the transition from concept to evaluation.
• Scale model deployment efficiently for diverse problems, decreasing the time from initial model development to production readiness.
• Enhance model quality assurance processes by accelerating testing and detecting data or distribution shifts.
• Handle diverse data types such as LiDAR, aerial imagery, photogrammetry, and GIS while creating scalable pipelines for training and serving models.
• Provide mentorship and guidance on best practices in model training and software engineering to junior team members.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes

• Demonstrated expertise in machine learning and deep learning methodologies.
• Solid foundation in software engineering principles and practices.
• Proficiency with ML frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities especially when tackling novel domains.
• Capability to collaborate asynchronously and cross-functionally on complex and poorly defined problems.
• Self-driven and proactive approach to problem ownership and challenge resolution.
