Quality Engineer

Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Engineer based in Dubai who will lead the implementation of automated testing strategies and frameworks to ensure product excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test automation using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Appium, and Rest Assure.
• Write robust code in programming languages including Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SpringBoot for testing purposes.
• Utilize Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment tools such as GitLab CI and Azure DevOps to maintain seamless testing pipelines.
• Leverage cloud and container technologies including AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes to support test environments.
• Conduct API and performance testing using Postman, JMeter, and k6.
• Design and implement testing approaches for API, contract, integration, and microservices components.
• Establish test architecture and automation standards, promoting quality engineering best practices across multiple products and platforms.
• Develop scalable automation frameworks targeting UI, API, backend, and end-to-end test scenarios.
• Create and refine continuous testing pipelines enhancing release speed and product quality.
• Apply event-driven system knowledge involving technologies such as Solace and Kafka.

Secondary Technical Skills & Competencies

• Engage in AI and GenAI-related tasks including large language model evaluation, prompt engineering, and leveraging AI-driven testing platforms.
• Implement observability tooling with Grafana and Dynatrace to monitor system health and metrics.
• Assess and integrate AI/GenAI tools to boost quality engineering efficiency and operational performance.
• Validate AI/ML models assessing aspects like model accuracy, prompt response testing, bias, drift, and output integrity.
