Role Overview

The Product Builder role is pivotal in shaping the enterprise governance experience of Camunda Hub, combining deep product insight, user empathy, UX expertise, and practical execution. This position offers high ownership within the Products organization, interfacing directly with customers and forward-deployed engineers in an AI-driven environment.

Camunda Hub serves as the centralized management platform for teams to govern processes, administer access, and manage the platform at enterprise scale. You will join the Enterprise & Governance pod responsible for key enterprise functionalities including access control, workspace and tenant management, audit and compliance features, and platform configuration UIs.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and refine significant user challenges faced by administrators, Centres of Excellence teams, and enterprise architects by engaging with customers, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Guide the product’s direction with effective judgment, rapid iteration, focusing on solving core problems rather than solely addressing feature requests.
• Design prototypes, develop, finalize, deploy, and continuously improve product features related to access control, workspace management, auditing, compliance, and platform administration.
• Leverage AI tools efficiently to accelerate drafting, development phases, iteration cycles, and learning without compromising quality.
• Collaborate closely with other product builders and strategy teams to convert concepts into delivered features, including coordination with Core/Identity teams responsible for platform contracts.
• Enhance the pod’s end-to-end product delivery speed, quality, and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

• Willingness or capability to utilize the Camunda product.
• Proven experience delivering software products directly.
• Competency in balancing product strategy, user experience, and hands-on development.
• Comfort with ambiguity, turning open-ended challenges into actionable steps.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills suitable for a remote, pod-based working environment.
• Curious mindset focused on users, rapid feedback loops, and continuous product iteration.
• Experience in product building beyond roadmap coordination, directly contributing to software delivery.
• Expertise with AI-native workflows: skillfully using AI tools to draft, code, and iterate while critically assessing and refining AI output.
• Ability to articulate and design user experiences thoughtfully, including user flows, hierarchy, state management, copywriting, and accessibility.
• Sound product and customer judgment using evidence, feedback, and pragmatic decision-making for maximum product value.
• Good technical sense within established architectures, capable of testing, issue tracing, understanding frontend/backend boundaries, and extending involvement beyond frontend scopes.

Preferred Skills

• Background working with workflow software, orchestration, or platform/admin tooling.
• Experience in small autonomous teams owning discovery through delivery.
• Knowledge of enterprise governance aspects such as identity and access management, RBAC, multi-tenancy, audit logs, and compliance requirements.
• Design experience targeting administrator and platform operator personas.
• Strong ability to distinguish meaningful validation insights and improve product validation methods.

Compensation and Benefits

Camunda offers a transparent and competitive compensation package with salary ranges based on location. Annual total target cash (base plus variable where applicable) varies by region, for example:

• United States: $119,900 to $193,200
• United Kingdom: £75,300 to £123,800
• Singapore: S$148,900 to S$223,300
• Canada: C$127,300 to C$209,300

For other locations, employment is arranged via a global employer partner with individualized compensation details provided post interview. Equity may also be offered through a Virtual Stock Option Plan (VSOP).
