About the Role
Join Damen Shipyards Group in Abu Dhabi as an MDM Application Engineer focusing on Stibo STEP. This full-time onsite position is part of the Data & AI department, aimed at enhancing the organization's Master Data Management capabilities to support operational excellence, analytics, AI innovations, and digital transformation.
Job Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain Stibo STEP workflows, business rules, validations, and data models to meet evolving business needs.
- Translate business requirements into scalable and sustainable master data solutions that improve data quality and user experience.
- Support onboarding of new master data domains and advance data management functionalities.
- Investigate and resolve application incidents, defects, and service requests while ensuring platform stability and reliability.
- Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Design and maintain integrations between Stibo STEP and other enterprise systems, ensuring data coherence across domains.
- Collaborate with integration teams to maintain secure and reliable data exchanges.
- Engage in continuous improvement by working with product owners, data architects, and external partners to prioritize enhancements and promote best MDM practices within the organization.
- Participate in Agile delivery practices to drive efficient project execution.
Candidate Profile and Experience
- Minimum five years of experience in Application Engineering, Enterprise Applications, Master Data Management, or related roles.
- Proven hands-on experience with Stibo Systems STEP or equivalent MDM platforms, including configuration, development, testing, and support.
- Experience with business-critical enterprise applications within complex organizational environments.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and supporting global stakeholders across diverse business functions.
Technical Competencies
- Expertise in Stibo Systems STEP platform.
- Strong knowledge of Master Data Management principles, data governance, and data quality management.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and XML for integration and automation tasks.
- Experience in workflow configuration and enterprise systems integration.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and ServiceNow platforms.
- Basic understanding of data modeling fundamentals.
