Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to design and maintain robust backend services for enterprise applications. The position demands building reliable, high-performance systems while collaborating closely with the engineering team on architecture and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design backend services using Java and the Spring framework.
- Create RESTful APIs to integrate with internal and external systems effectively.
- Enhance performance and ensure that services can scale seamlessly.
- Perform code reviews and actively participate in architectural decision-making.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising in production environments.
- Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams to facilitate smooth delivery cycles.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of three years' experience building production-level Java applications.
- In-depth expertise with Spring Boot and the broader Spring ecosystem.
- Experience working with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka or RabbitMQ is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies.
- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and system design principles.

- Intellectual curiosity to analyze systems and implement continuous improvements.
- Clear and effective written communication skills for explaining technical decisions.
- Adopting a test-and-learn approach: building, measuring, and iterating rapidly.
