About the Role

Zephorin, an expanding international organization specializing in aviation operations and airport services, invites applications for the position of Ground Handling Coordinator based in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time, fully remote role is suited for professionals with entry to mid-level experience eager to develop their expertise in ground handling and aviation operations.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage daily ground handling operations and coordinate flight turnaround activities to ensure operational efficiency.
• Oversee aircraft service processes, baggage logistics, and planning of ramp operations.
• Collaborate extensively with teams across Ground Handling, Flight Operations, Airport Operations, Cargo Services, Customer Support, and Compliance.
• Liaise with airlines, airport service providers, and operational departments.
• Monitor flight schedules and operational developments continuously.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to ground handling activities.
• Assist with allocation of resources and coordinate related service tasks.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare updates for management review.
• Address routine ground handling and operational challenges proactively.
• Implement and sustain organized record-keeping and document control standards.
• Support adherence to airport regulations and company operating procedures.
• Encourage safety practices and operational excellence within ground handling teams.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance aviation services.
• Facilitate effective communication among airport teams and relevant stakeholders.
• Keep updated with the latest best practices in ground handling and aviation operations.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or related discipline is preferred.
• One to three years of relevant experience in areas such as ground handling, airport or airline operations, and aviation services is beneficial.
• Understanding of airport ground handling and operational procedures.
• Strong capability in organization, communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in English for both written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with airline operations software, flight scheduling tools, or Microsoft Office applications is advantageous.
• Knowledge of IATA processes, ramp operations, and aircraft turnaround coordination adds value.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.
• Experience within UAE or GCC aviation sectors is a plus but not a strict requirement.
• Certification in relevant aviation or ground handling fields is helpful though not essential.
