Job description
Position Overview
We are looking for a skilled Full Stack .NET Developer to join us on a 12-month extendable contract. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade solutions in a .NET environment tailored to specific Line of Business needs. This position demands proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies, with the applications deployed on IIS and Kubernetes/Microservices platforms.
Key Duties
- Architect, code, and deploy .NET applications based on business requirements.
- Create backend services and APIs utilizing the .NET Framework and C#.
- Develop and improve frontend applications using Angular or equivalent modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Convert API endpoints into functional, user-oriented UI elements.
- Manage deployment and maintenance of applications within IIS and Kubernetes/Microservices using Docker or OpenShift.
- Work with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases to develop and optimize applications.
- Engage actively in Agile team rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate effectively with global teams to align on technical solutions and delivery schedules.
- Proactively identify and communicate potential risks, blockers, and dependencies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Strong expertise in .NET Framework and C# programming.
- Experience with Angular or other contemporary JavaScript frameworks.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS focusing on UI/UX.
- Working knowledge of Entity Framework.
- Practical experience with SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
- Experience with Docker or OpenShift platforms.
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture and IIS environments.
- Knowledge of Aspose.NET.
- Exposure to release and testing frameworks including XLR, ALM, and Quartz.
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in banking or financial services sectors.
- Experience delivering enterprise-scale applications with DevOps practices.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is mandatory.
Additional Information
This role is offered through an employment business partner arrangement and is based onsite in Singapore.
