About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Direct and support the electrical team to ensure projects are completed safely, punctually, and to required standards
- Assign tasks, track productivity, and encourage continuous performance enhancements among team members
- Offer expert electrical advice and technical assistance during production, testing, and commissioning phases
- Interpret electrical schematics to aid testing and commissioning efforts
- Conduct performance appraisals and probation reviews while identifying necessary training programs
- Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures, health and safety legislation, and quality assurance measures
- Participate in production meetings and assist in scheduling and reporting duties
Candidate Requirements
- Fully qualified electrician holding 18th Edition wiring regulations and ONC/HNC or NVQ equivalent certifications
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with excellent skills in managing personnel
- Proven ability to enhance team efficiency, motivate employees, and effectively lead from the front
- Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installations, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning processes
- Competence in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams to provide technical direction
- Desirable qualifications include NICEIC accreditation and 2391 Testing & Inspection certification
- Prior experience in manufacturing or engineering environments is preferred; proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office software is an advantage
