Role Overview

As a Deli Assistant based in Kilcolgan, County Galway, your primary responsibility will be to prepare high-quality hot and cold deli products while prioritizing customer satisfaction at all times.

Candidate Profile

• Completion of HACCP training is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Capability to collaborate effectively within a team in a dynamic, fast-paced work setting and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Genuine enthusiasm for food and the ability to engage and inspire customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare customer orders including sandwich and roll making, hot food service, and slicing meats adhering strictly to portion control guidelines.
• Cook, prepare, and visually present food items available for sale throughout the operational day.
• Maintain optimal appearance and standards of fresh food counter displays continuously during operating hours.
• Exhibit passion for quality food by sharing knowledge, recipes, and personalized suggestions with customers.
• Address all customer inquiries professionally and in alignment with store policies.

This is a full-time role located in Kilcolgan and is not suited for students.
