Position Overview
We seek an experienced DevOps professional, specifically skilled in HCL Commerce platforms, with over five years in the domain. The role focuses on deploying, managing, and optimizing commerce platform environments, infrastructure, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines primarily on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support HCL Commerce platform deployments across various environments.
- Design, develop, and fine-tune CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native tools and approaches.
- Manage and optimize cloud-based infrastructure with an emphasis on Azure services.
- Deploy and administrate containerized applications leveraging Kubernetes or OpenShift, alongside Docker technologies.
- Continuously monitor system health, troubleshoot operational issues, and maintain platform scalability and reliability.
- Adopt and apply Infrastructure as Code methodologies to automate infrastructure deployment.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders to facilitate smooth release cycles and operational management.
Candidate Profile and Essential Qualifications
- A minimum of five years of professional experience in DevOps or closely related fields.
- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on experience with HCL Commerce platform deployments, preferably version 9 or newer.
- Strong competencies in designing and enhancing CI/CD pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Azure cloud platform administration.
- Skilled in container orchestration technologies including Kubernetes and OpenShift, alongside Docker containerization.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
- Good command of automation and scripting practices.
- Capable of conducting production-level performance optimization and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and effective stakeholder management capabilities.
