About the Role

Join Chanel as a Boutique Visual Merchandiser to champion the brand's distinguished image through compelling boutique window displays and merchandising presentations. This position reports directly to the Senior Visual Merchandiser Manager and Head of Boutique and demands close coordination with retail operations, communication, and marketing teams to ensure consistent and superior brand representation throughout boutiques nationwide.

Job Mission

• Serve as the steward of the CHANEL brand image across the country.
• Ensure CHANEL's fashion and image messaging is communicated clearly via visual merchandising and window displays.
• Stay abreast of international and regional display standards and guarantee consistent, high-quality brand presentation throughout boutiques.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and uphold visual merchandising policies aligned with global and boutique-specific needs.
• Facilitate sales by promptly adjusting mannequins, replenishing merchandise, and modifying displays as necessary for client needs.
• Act as the store's primary contact for visual merchandising in the absence of the VM Lead, including during holidays and weekends.
• Support operational teams with product preparation for floor changes and new collection launches, including physically handling display items.
• Maintain updated digital photographic records of visual merchandising setups.
• Keep window display documentation current with SKU, price, and size details for the sales team.
• Assist in executing events, sales, seasonal setups, corporate events, and other initiatives that drive business within the boutique.
• Communicate effectively with selling teams and management.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in visual merchandising within retail.
• Background in merchandising; luxury retail experience is advantageous but not essential.
• Solid understanding of fashion, style, and current visual merchandising practices.
• Energetic, outgoing personality with a keen creative eye.
• Strong attention to detail, self-driven, capable of working independently and collaboratively.
• Ability to enhance the visibility and client experience of Chanel's fashion collections with flair and agility.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluency in spoken and written English.
• Physical capability to lift mannequins and display equipment.
• Flexible availability including late nights, weekends, and some holidays based on fashion launch schedules.
• Rostered in-store presence for opening and closing procedures, inventory handling, and logistics to support sales operations and client service.
