Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Designer specialized in furniture design to join our team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The role involves creating precise 2D AutoCAD drawings for various office furniture items such as workstations, chairs, tables, and storage units, ensuring all technical details and production requirements are accurately incorporated.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive 2D AutoCAD drawings detailing dimensions, materials, specifications, and assembly instructions for office furniture products.
• Produce furniture layouts and space-planning diagrams tailored to client needs.
• Translate sketches and conceptual ideas into detailed technical designs.
• Prepare specifications including cutting sizes and material quantities as necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the production team to guarantee manufacturability and practicality of designs.
• Revise existing designs when required by customers or manufacturing constraints.
• Develop drawings for customized furniture and specialized projects.
• Coordinate with the sales team to assess technical feasibility and design demands.
• Maintain organized archives of drawings, updates, and approved designs.
• Adhere to company standards to minimize errors during production.
• Conduct factory or site visits as needed to gather measurements and assess execution requirements.
• Liaise with vendors to obtain technical drawings and material details when necessary.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient expertise in 2D AutoCAD software.
• Familiarity with 3D applications such as SketchUp, 3ds Max, or SolidWorks is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of furniture structure, materials, and manufacturing workflows.
• Ability to accurately read and produce technical drawings.
• Attention to detail regarding dimensions, materials, and hardware components.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities.
• Capacity to manage deadlines and juggle multiple design projects simultaneously.

Preferred Experience

• Background in office furniture manufacturing, modular furniture, or workstations.
• Experience with office and conference tables, storage furniture, hotel furniture, or interior fit-outs.
• Involvement in customized furniture design projects.

Educational Requirements

A diploma or degree in B.Tech, B.Arch, Interior Design, or a closely related field with pertinent experience in AutoCAD and furniture design is expected.

Compensation

The role offers a monthly salary ranging between 15,000 and 25,000 INR.
