Job Overview
We are seeking Workday Extend Developers to enhance and expand our portfolio of SaaS products on the Workday platform. These offerings include Workday testing tools, compliance solutions, data masking, employee document management, and pay transparency analyzers.
As a member of a focused product team, you will innovate new products, participating in design, development, and operational lifecycles until products reach maturity. This opportunity arises from new strategic partnerships with Workday initiatives such as the Marketplace, AI Gateway, AWS integration, and the 'Built on Workday' program. These initiatives enable us to build a thriving ecosystem, positioning Kainos as the leading partner.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop applications using Workday Extend.
- Engage with AWS and AI technologies to integrate innovative features.
- Collaborate closely within a small team to design technical solutions.
- Create proofs-of-concept in a dynamic environment.
- Incorporate user feedback to refine solutions addressing customer needs.
- Support junior colleagues and foster a community of practice around Workday Extend specialization.
- Drive efforts to align technical development with customer-focused product roadmaps.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with development using Workday Extend applications.
- Proven ability to code within agile delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with web service technologies such as REST and SOAP.
- Excellent communication skills, comfortable engaging with customers and colleagues including remote settings.
- Strong command of English language.
- Commercially aware with understanding of project and business environments.
- Ability to manage workload and consistently meet deadlines.
- Commitment to quality, standards, and confidentiality in all work aspects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Workday Extend from accredited organizations.
- Certification in Workday Human Capital Management (HCM).
