About the Role
Join Visy's team at their Warwick Farm site in a permanent position focused on managing and supporting daily warehouse activities. Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this position emphasizes hands-on involvement to uphold precise inventory control, efficient shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining overall warehouse safety and orderliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders, managing pallet movements, and unloading containers using a full pallet forklift.
- Coordinating transportation bookings and dispatch activities.
- Performing stocktakes, monitoring inventory levels, managing back orders, and handling invoicing tasks.
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to inventory, shipping, and receipts.
- Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, well-organized, and safe at all times.
- Strictly complying with safety, quality, and occupational health and safety (OH&S) regulations.
Candidate Profile
- Must hold a forklift licence, which is essential for this role.
- Previous experience working in warehouse settings, with experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and basic inventory systems; experience with SAP is considered an advantage.
- Strong communication skills paired with the ability to work well collaboratively.
- Good organisational abilities capable of prioritising multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive attitude accompanied by practical problem-solving skills and the capacity to work independently.
- Must have full legal rights to work in Australia.
Work Conditions
- Standard day shift hours from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:00 pm.
