Supply Chain Coordinator (Ecommerce)

About The Role

The Foot Collective is a global education and training organization dedicated to promoting natural human movement by strengthening people's connection to their feet. Our products are crafted internationally by artisans and producers, transported by sea and air, and distributed through warehouses across three continents to customers worldwide. The smooth flow of this supply chain is critical, and you will be responsible for managing these logistics seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound shipments, tracking each freight movement, maintaining accurate ETAs with our 3PL partner, and ensuring customs clearance to prevent delays.
• Manage supplier relations and production schedules, actively following up on realistic shipment dates, arranging freight bookings, generating shipment notifications, and facilitating stock movement. Handle supplier invoicing through to the approval for payment.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory forecasts including stock and packaging, and create contingency plans if shipments are delayed to cover demand.
• Serve as the primary liaison with the 3PL for daily operations such as receipting, documentation, resolving discrepancies, processing orders, and keeping customer experience teams informed on order statuses.
• Produce weekly reports on Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) and monthly unit economics metrics that inform business decisions.

• Conduct comprehensive packaging reviews for all SKUs, focusing on costs, protection, and customer unboxing experience.
• Evaluate freight partners and carrier rates across regions, including quarterly audits comparing shipping charges versus payments to protect margins.
• Enhance B2B and wholesale fulfillment processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Australian residency with full work rights and based in Australia, working primarily on Australian hours with occasional early or late calls.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight roles.
• Practical knowledge of international freight including sea and air shipping, customs protocols, duties, and taxes. Prior exposure is essential; domestic-only experience is insufficient.
• Experience working with third-party logistics providers or external warehouses.
• Comfortable engaging directly with overseas suppliers to monitor production and enforce shipment deadlines.
• Strong numerical skills and confidence using spreadsheet tools such as Excel or Google Sheets, especially for forecasting and cost analysis.
• Familiarity and routine use of AI tools to improve productivity in daily tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in e-commerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) sectors, ideally using Shopify platforms.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems or ERP solutions such as Cin7, Unleashed, NetSuite, Dear, SAP Business One, or Zoho.
• Knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping terms.
• Understanding of UK and EU customs systems like CDS and EORI numbers.
• Background in purchasing or buying functions.
• Experience leading packaging or freight rate evaluations resulting in cost savings.
