Role and Location

This role is based remotely within the United Kingdom. As a Senior Solutions Engineer within GitHub's Enterprise Customer Engineering team in the EMEA region, you will enhance technical engagement with customers while being at the forefront of the industry-changing AI revolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead pre-sales technical engagements with major clients to secure alignment among business and technical stakeholders and achieve solution selection goals.
• Build and sustain strategic external relationships to promote adoption and integration of GitHub solutions.
• Identify client challenges and collaborate with technical teams to offer tailored solutions, including demos and proof-of-concept activities.
• Evaluate customer environments, highlight gaps addressable by GitHub products, and contribute to strategic roadmaps.
• Create and deliver content for marketing initiatives, enhancing customer interaction and showcasing GitHub’s value.
• Develop deep knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security, advising customers on application security frameworks and acting as a trusted advisor.
• Communicate industry insights and business intelligence to spot growth opportunities and align products with customer digital transformation efforts.
• Design innovative solutions leveraging GitHub platform capabilities to solve complex client issues aligned with their objectives.
• Collaborate closely with sales, account management, and partners to craft strategic plans that promote long-term client success and growth.

Qualifications

Required qualifications include:

• Minimum 8 years in technical consulting or related technical sales roles; or aligned academic degrees with reduced experience requirements.
• Background in software engineering, architecture, or integration with knowledge across developer platforms, generative AI, source control, CI/CD, systems architecture, and DevSecOps.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% across EMEA and occasionally beyond for corporate events.

Preferred qualifications feature over 10 years of experience in technical consulting, significant digital transformation expertise, business consulting skills, and strong ability to manage technical teams and overcome installation challenges.
