About the Role
A dynamic InsurTech start-up is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their innovative technology team in Singapore. This role centers on developing advanced AI-driven solutions tailored for healthcare applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver comprehensive NLP, large language model (LLM), and agentic AI applications within healthcare domains.
- Convert complex business processes into scalable AI infrastructure involving retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), classification models, and AI agents.
- Design and refine LLM pipelines, including prompt mechanisms and data retrieval systems, to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reliability.
- Create frameworks for AI evaluation, safety guardrails, and ongoing system monitoring to maintain high-quality outputs.
- Deploy AI solutions into production utilizing MLOps best practices, observability tools, and optimizing costs and latency.
- Engage in collaborative projects across teams, mentor junior engineers, and ensure alignment with responsible AI practices and compliance standards.
Necessary Qualifications and Expertise
- At least 8 years experience in data architecture with over 2 years actively developing production-ready AI/ML systems emphasizing NLP and LLM technologies.
- Proficient programming skills with Python, PySpark, SQL, emphasizing reproducible data workflow development.
- In-depth understanding of transformer-based LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and agentic AI system architectures.
- Expertise in model tuning, prompt engineering, and establishing evaluation protocols.
- Strong software engineering background including MLOps practices, cloud technologies particularly Azure Databricks, and containerization techniques.
- Dedication to responsible AI principles, meticulous data governance, effective cross-disciplinary teamwork, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
