Role Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) within the DACH region is instrumental in driving business growth by building and nurturing client relationships. This role involves proactive outreach to prospects, understanding their challenges with social media, and promoting the Brandwatch solution to address their needs. The position suits someone energetic, goal-oriented, self-driven, and collaborative, with a passion for learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new market opportunities and develop a robust pipeline using tools such as Salesloft, Salesforce, and LinkedIn.
- Serve as the initial contact point and brand ambassador of Cision to potential customers.
- Gain deep insight into Cision's brand, business model, and SaaS offerings.
- Locate and reach out to relevant contacts in targeted companies through cold calls, emails, and social media channels.
- Handle inbound leads efficiently.
- Conduct an average of 50 outbound calls daily aiming to schedule product demonstrations.
- Qualify leads, maintain ownership of the sales pipeline, and engage warmly interested prospects.
- Build and sustain meaningful relationships with potential clients.
- Schedule qualified demos for Account Executives.
- Achieve and surpass quarterly sales targets.
- Stay well-informed on industry developments and the evolving social media environment.
- Career growth is supported, with SDRs having a clear pathway to progress into Account Executive roles.
Qualifications
- Possession of a higher education degree or Bachelor’s degree.
- A positive mindset with resilience to convert objections into opportunities through consultative communication.
- Native-level fluency in German and proficiency in English.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a motivated team environment.
- Capability to excel in a target-driven setting, managing both short and extended sales cycles.
- Prior experience with cold calling is beneficial.
- Strong organizational skills to efficiently prioritize and complete tasks.
