Role Overview

We seek a skilled Platform DevOps Engineer to design, build, and manage the platforms powering AI Co-Workers. This practical role involves full ownership of system reliability and close collaboration with product, AI, and engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, implement, and maintain dependable production infrastructure supporting AI applications.
• Manage Kubernetes-based platforms for deploying and operating AI workloads.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using GitOps principles with Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Maintain reusable CI/CD workflows in GitHub Actions for Docker image builds, Terraform planning and application, and cross-repository deployments.
• Implement Helm-based deployment strategies integrated with GitOps tools like ArgoCD.
• Establish and enhance system reliability metrics using SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
• Take part in on-call rotations, incident management, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews.
• Automate operational processes to minimize manual toil and improve efficiency.
• Develop and refine observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with engineers to guarantee system resilience, scalability, and security.
• Engage across all phases of the software lifecycle including build, deploy, and operate.
• Diagnose and resolve issues across a diverse, multi-layered technology stack.
• Contribute to product enhancements by designing and implementing architectural improvements that ensure resilience, security, and compatibility across multiple cloud platforms.

Essential Qualifications

• Practical experience with Kubernetes platform design, construction, or operation on environments such as EKS, AKS, GKE, or self-managed clusters.
• Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt for automating infrastructure provisioning.
• Proficient in Helm for deploying Kubernetes applications.
• Professional coding or scripting experience in at least two languages among Python, Go, Java, Bash, PowerShell, or Ruby.
• Background as a Platform or DevOps Engineer or equivalent role.

Desirable Experience

• Familiar with software development life cycles including CI/CD pipelines, release management, and end-to-end delivery workflows.
• Experience with one or more major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of GitOps deployment methodologies, specifically using ArgoCD.
• At least five years of relevant professional experience in related roles.
• DevOps or DevSecOps expertise encompassing CI/CD ownership, infrastructure automation, and security practices.

Preferred Criteria

• Certifications like CKA, CKAD, cloud provider certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, DevSecOps, or programming credentials.
