Cleaner - Castlecomer

Role Overview

Boylesports seeks a Cleaner to help sustain a tidy, orderly, and inviting atmosphere for both customers and employees. This role involves maintaining cleanliness throughout multiple areas including washrooms, betting sections, and common zones.

Primary Responsibilities

• Execute routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Thoroughly clean and disinfect bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, and floors.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
• Keep betting terminals and gaming areas clean and maintained.
• Monitor inventory and restock cleaning materials as needed.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and adhere to schedules.
• Comply with all health and safety standards.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly to supervisors.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred but not mandatory.
• Must reside within commuting distance of the Castlecomer location.
• Capable of working independently with efficiency.
• High attention to detail and thoroughness in completing assigned duties.
• Good communication abilities and a positive mindset.
• Able to follow directions carefully.

Work Schedule

Work is scheduled between 4 and 7 days weekly, varying by store requirements. Shifts last between 1 to 2 hours per day and occur outside normal trading hours of Boylesports.
