Scoot invites aspiring pilots to join its Cadet Pilot Program to experience a unique professional journey in the skies.
About the Program
Scoot is a youthful and energetic airline, passionate about travel and distinguished by its commitment to excellence. Our cadet program provides a tailored co-funded pilot training curriculum at a selected aviation training institution. Successful completion confers a Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) or a 'Frozen' ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), leading to eligibility as a Second Officer or Junior First Officer.
Following graduation, candidates will undergo comprehensive base and line training within Scoot to ensure readiness with the necessary skillset and knowledge for operational flying.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old as stipulated by aviation regulations.
- Must have legal authorization to work in Singapore upon training completion.
- Minimum educational qualifications include a GCE 'O' Level certificate or equivalent with at least 5 credits at a single sitting, covering English, Mathematics, and a Science subject (preferably Physics).
- Medical certification requirements include qualifying for Class I & II unrestricted medical certification per the Civil Aviation Medical Board standards.
- Vision standards demand at least 6/60 unaided visual acuity, correctable to 6/6, and absence of color blindness to meet safety criteria.
- Commitment to a mandatory service bond is required.
