Role Overview

The Busser role is essential for ensuring guests enjoy a clean and safe dining environment. The position focuses on maintaining spotless table settings and dining areas to enhance the overall guest experience and encourage repeat visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Clear tables of used dishware and napkins promptly after meals and transport them to the kitchen.
• Keep floors and chairs near dining spaces clean by frequent sweeping and mopping.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of glassware, silverware, and dishware at service stations.
• Sanitize and reset tables efficiently following guest departures.
• Refill condiments such as salt and pepper at tables as needed.
• Support servers by assisting with food delivery when required.
• Ensure designated service areas remain clean and sufficiently stocked throughout shifts.
• Perform other cleaning duties around the restaurant as assigned to support overall hygiene and presentation.

Candidate Qualifications

• A genuine enthusiasm for providing care, personal growth, and learning opportunities.
• A positive and proactive attitude conducive to team environments and guest interaction.
• Capability to thoroughly clean and maintain all relevant dining areas, including wiping down tables and booth seats and clearing debris from floors.
• Physical stamina to transport plates, glasses, and baskets approximately 30 times per shift within the dining, bar, and kitchen areas.
• Ability to remain mobile and active throughout the entire work shift.

Physical Demands

The position involves various physical activities including moving around the restaurant, communicating with customers, lifting and handling items weighing up to 25 pounds occasionally, and performing bending and stooping motions. Adequate vision is required for maintaining cleanliness standards and operating touchscreen devices. Reasonable accommodations can be made for individuals with disabilities.
