Role Overview

We are expanding our Pune team and looking for a skilled software engineer who will contribute to building and managing a distributed marketplace and application network. We value entrepreneurial mindset and experience from established companies. As a developer, you will craft robust, maintainable, and well-tested software, delivering mission-critical services and scalable APIs with elegant functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Shape and advance our integration ecosystem to support expanding use cases and system extensibility.
• Architect and implement systems capable of handling large transaction volumes efficiently.
• Design and maintain scalable fault-tolerant systems to minimize customer disruptions during failures.
• Contribute to transitioning towards a service-oriented architecture.
• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams including product management, design, and sales to deliver value.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience delivering comprehensive end-to-end software solutions from inception.
• Passion for writing production-grade code and commitment to maintaining and supporting it after deployment.
• Proactive in code refactoring and open to exploring new technologies.
• Experienced in conducting code reviews and engaging in technical system designs.
• Minimum of two years’ professional experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of open source frameworks, notably Spring and Hibernate.
• Familiarity with web services and development of RESTful APIs.
• Competent in SQL with understanding of joins, keys, and query optimization.
• Educational background of a B.S. degree or higher in Computer Science or related disciplines.
