About Nutritics
Nutritics is transforming how foodservice and hospitality sectors manage their operations by providing full transparency over food, menus, supply chains, and environmental impacts. Trusted globally by over 500 clients including catering firms, restaurant chains, hospitals, and educational providers, Nutritics is the preferred platform for those serious about food data. Supported by private equity investment, the company is rapidly expanding across the UK, Ireland, and entering the US market with a mission to become the leading global food information platform.
Role Overview and Key Duties
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will primarily drive outbound lead generation while also qualifying inbound leads to support Nutritics' global growth. The role involves managing the initial stages of the sales process through prospecting and qualifying opportunities and closing smaller enterprise deals typically valued up to €10,000. You will engage prospects via multi-channel outreach, maintain up-to-date CRM records, and consistently meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Devote approximately 80% of work time to outbound lead generation, primarily through cold calls.
- Screen and qualify inbound leads based on PACT criteria for handover to the sales team.
- Manage and close smaller inbound enterprise deals, handling the entire sales cycle.
- Prospect potential customers using outbound channels such as cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and video messaging tools.
- Schedule and conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations for qualified prospects.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and opportunity records within the CRM system.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge and clearly communicate Nutritics’ value proposition.
- Implement the MEDDIC sales methodology throughout the sales process.
- Utilize modern AI and intelligence tools to research target accounts, customize outreach, and enhance campaign results.
Career Growth and Development
Nutritics fosters a culture of personal and professional growth, offering clear progression pathways into senior and specialist roles within a globally expanding business. Benefits include impactful roles with direct business growth influence, expert mentorship, bi-annual reviews with personalized career plans, and opportunities to broaden responsibilities as the company scales internationally.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in sales development or sales roles.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed.
- Show enthusiasm and capability for outbound lead generation.
- Exhibit confidence in generating qualified leads or a strong desire to quickly improve.
- Experience in building a personal brand on social media channels.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Passion for Nutritics’ mission and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Previous foodservice or nutrition industry experience is advantageous but not required.
Company Culture and Values
Nutritics prioritizes a people-first approach with rapid international growth. The company embraces five core values: Team First, Open Communication, No Ego, Integrity, and Ambition (The Rocket). The culture prizes transparency, collaboration, and results over hierarchy, creating an award-winning environment that supports wellbeing and continual development.
Compensation and Benefits
- 25 days annual leave plus public holidays, with increased leave entitlement over time.
- Emphasis on work-life balance including perks such as summer hours and enhanced parental leave.
- Generous allowances to support health and wellbeing.
- Company-matched pension contributions.
- Life assurance coverage.
- Competitive salary in line with the market.
- Corporate travel insurance.
- Clear opportunities for career advancement with training and mentoring.
- Supportive team environment with experienced colleagues.
Working Hours and Location
The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible core hours. It requires presence in the Ireland or UK local office one day weekly as part of a hybrid working model. The position is based in either Ireland or the UK.
