Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a qualified QAQC Engineer specialized in Electrical Engineering to oversee quality assurance and control for significant EPC projects. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and brings 10 to 12 years of comprehensive experience handling quality processes in large-scale projects involving 380kV Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations and Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
Responsibilities and Expertise
- Utilize in-depth knowledge of Saudi Energy transmission and substation projects, especially in high voltage ranges from 380kV up to 525kV.
- Perform inspections and quality control across construction, installation, testing, and commissioning phases specifically for electrical components.
- Implement and enforce adherence to project quality assurance procedures, inspection and test plans (ITPs), material inspections, and documentation management.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Energy standards as well as global quality and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Additional Information
- Minimum of 10 years of direct hands-on experience in inspection and quality control of electrical construction activities for Saudi Energy transmission and substation projects.
- Preference given to candidates holding Saudi Energy (SE) approved QAQC Engineer certification.
- ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor certification is highly desirable.
