Overview

The Learning & Development Officer at Andaz Doha plays a vital role in fostering the growth, skills enhancement, and professional advancement of employees. This position involves assessing training needs, organizing and conducting training sessions, and maintaining documentation related to employee learning activities. Collaborating closely with department heads, the officer aims to boost workforce performance, ensure mandatory trainings are met, and cultivate a culture of ongoing education aligned with organizational values and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the training requirements across different departments.
• Coordinate and lead various training initiatives to strengthen employee competencies.
• Keep accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and recommend improvements.
• Support talent growth strategies including succession planning and career development.
• Arrange external training opportunities to supplement internal offerings.
• Encourage colleague engagement and uphold service excellence consistent with the brand's goals.

Required Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related discipline.
• Have a minimum of two years' experience in training, learning and development, human resources, or an equivalent function.
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of adult learning theories and training methodologies.
• Exhibit strong communication, presentation, and facilitation capabilities.
• Capable of designing, coordinating, and executing dynamic and engaging training programs.
