Role overview

This position is for a Java Selenium Automation Testing Engineer in Hyderabad. The role sits within the engineering services line and is focused on quality assurance, test automation, and supporting software delivery for client projects.

What you will do

• Support design, development, validation, and ongoing assistance activities as part of the delivery team.
• Collect and study client needs, then convert them into clear system-level requirements.
• Contribute to estimating the effort needed for work items and help inform Technology Leads and Project Managers.
• Build efficient programs and systems that support the client’s digital transformation goals.
• Prepare test cases and test scenarios from functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work with SDLC and agile ways of working while collaborating with team members to solve problems.

Technical and professional requirements

• Primary knowledge is needed in automation testing with Selenium and Java.
• Preferred exposure includes Java development and mobile automation testing.
• Understanding of design principles, architecture basics, and performance engineering is expected.
• Knowledge of quality processes, estimation methods, and project domain basics is required.
• Ability to turn functional and non-functional needs into technical requirements is important.
• Capability to design, code, and validate complex programs is needed.
• Familiarity with current technologies and industry trends will be useful.

Education

Applicants should hold one of the following: M.Tech, M.E., Master of Computer Science, MCA, B.Tech, B.Sc in Computer Science, BCA, or B.E.
