Configuration Manager

Role Overview

Join a pioneering aircraft program to establish and lead the Configuration Management function from inception. Collaborate with senior leadership in engineering and airworthiness as the organization advances towards certification and production phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and enforce the company's Configuration Management framework.
• Set up governance structures, operational workflows, and change control protocols for configuration management.
• Oversee and maintain aircraft configuration baselines ensuring product integrity throughout developmental stages.
• Control engineering changes and configuration documentation effectively.
• Partner with Engineering, Airworthiness, and Certification teams to ensure alignment and compliance in configuration.
• Assist in deploying and refining Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Configuration Management tools.
• Champion industry-leading practices throughout the maturing program.

Candidate Profile

• Deep expertise in Configuration Management within aerospace or aviation sectors.
• Experience contributing to new aircraft development or certification projects.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering change management, baselines, and product lifecycle processes.
• Proven track record in developing or rolling out Configuration Management methodologies.
• Familiarity with PLM platforms such as Teamcenter, Polarion, or equivalent tools is advantageous.
• Adept at operating in dynamic, rapidly evolving engineering environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Monthly salary ranging from AED 30,000 to AED 42,000, contingent on experience and qualifications.
