Role Overview

We are searching for a Technical Architect to develop and guide the architecture frameworks that underpin our engineering efforts. This position demands profound expertise in system design and the capability to influence across multiple teams to ensure cohesive, scalable system integration over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and continuously improve target architectures across major platform domains.
• Lead architecture reviews and facilitate technical decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system design and integration strategies.
• Document architecture decisions, requests for comments (RFCs), and technical strategy papers.
• Provide mentorship to senior engineers and formalize architectural standards.
• Assess emerging technologies and guide strategic build-versus-buy choices.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• At least eight years of professional experience in software engineering with substantial exposure to architectural roles.
• Expertise in distributed systems and cloud-native architecture designs.
• Proven experience designing scalable systems able to handle significant load.
• Exceptional writing skills for composing RFCs and articulating technical strategies.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct managerial authority.
• Strong mentorship capabilities and a consultative leadership approach.
