Job description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Stocktaker Advisor based in Crawley who brings hospitality management or stocktaking expertise to support and audit stock in bars, pubs, restaurants, and retail entertainment venues in the local area. This position is tailored for those seeking structured daytime hours Monday to Friday, bank holidays off, and extended leave over Christmas, ensuring an excellent work-life balance.
Key Duties
- Carry out wet and dry stocktakes regularly at assigned venues including restaurants, pubs, bars, and entertainment retail outlets around Crawley and neighboring regions.
- Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients through providing professional advice regarding hospitality business operations alongside stocktaking services.
- Analyze stocktake outcomes and generate reports using the venue’s EPoS systems to identify opportunities to improve stock management and profitability.
- Utilize company training and systems to optimize stock auditing processes and client support.
- Travel within the designated area is essential, requiring access to personal vehicle.
Candidate Requirements
- Experience in a similar auditor or stocktaking advisory role is preferred but hospitality managers, assistant managers, supervisors, or those with relevant wet and dry stocktaking exposure in the catering sector will also be considered.
- Proficient in operating EPoS systems, specifically in generating stocktake reports and managing inventory items.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service proficiency.
- Competent in PC use, especially Microsoft Office applications including Excel.
- Sound understanding of inventory yields and stock depletion principles.

Additional Details
- Annual salary range: £26,500 to £28,500 subject to experience.
