About the Role
This position offers the chance to join a fast-growing Fintech company focused on developing advanced technology solutions for the global investment management sector. Supported by substantial funding and collaborating closely with leading hedge funds, the company tackles complex engineering challenges on a large scale and is heavily investing in evolving its core platform.
As a senior member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing critical backend services using modern C# and .Net technologies. The role involves building distributed systems that handle large data volumes with stringent performance and reliability targets. You will participate in the entire software lifecycle—from architectural and technical design to implementation, optimization, and delivery—working with colleagues who share a passion for producing elegant and robust software.

Candidate Profile
- Holder of at least a 2:1 BSc degree in Computer Science or a related technical field from a top-tier or Russell Group university, supported by A grades at A-levels
- Proficient with modern C# and .Net development frameworks
- Sound understanding of software architecture, distributed system design, and engineering best practices
- Deep grasp of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, object-oriented and system design
- Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for addressing challenging technical issues
- Capability to lead substantial technical projects and influence the engineering direction
- Experience with Python, data-intensive systems, or financial technology environments is a plus but not mandatory
