Java Software Engineer

Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic Java Backend Developer with 2 to 4 years of solid experience in crafting scalable backend systems. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in Java (versions 8, 11, 17), Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture. Familiarity with modern development practices such as CI/CD, Docker, and cloud technologies is essential.

Primary Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Develop REST APIs and Microservices for various applications.
• Utilize databases like MySQL along with ORM tools such as Hibernate and JPA.
• Write automated tests leveraging JUnit to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile teams and contribute to code reviews.
• Maintain and support continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Git and Docker.
• Deploy and manage applications in cloud and containerized environments.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Comprehensive understanding of Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Proficiency in MySQL, Hibernate/JPA, and automated testing with JUnit.
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and Docker containers.
• Good communication skills in English and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Availability for immediate joining.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kotlin programming language.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automation.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Working knowledge of Apache Kafka for event streaming.
