About the Role
Makeable is inviting a select group of founding engineers based in Singapore to join an exclusive in-person residency program in San Francisco. This full-time role offers hands-on involvement with a small founding team, encouraging close collaboration in a dynamic startup environment. Participants will relocate to San Francisco for the residency period.
Residency Details
- Paid flights, meals, reasonable living expenses, and accommodation in a spacious 2,000+ sq ft hackerhouse located centrally in San Francisco are provided.
- The residency is suited for highly capable individuals passionate about building impactful products.
Candidate Profile
We seek candidates with a proven track record of shipping significant projects and exhibiting strong ownership. Expertise might center around full-stack or backend development, AI product creation, embedded software or firmware, electronics and electrical engineering, mechanical design and CAD prototyping, or 3D animation and interactive product experiences. Depth in one technical area is crucial, alongside curiosity and adaptability across other disciplines. The startup operates in a fast-changing environment where flexibility and idea contribution are essential.
Eligibility and Application
- Applicants must be at least 18 years old by October and currently residing in Singapore.
- Rather than a traditional CV, submissions should showcase tangible work such as GitHub repos, portfolios, prototypes, products, demo reels, CAD projects, or other demonstrable achievements.
Future Opportunities
Exceptional participants may be offered a paid founding role with equity after the residency, contingent on mutual fit, final agreements, and necessary work authorizations.
