Role Overview

We are seeking an Applications Engineer Trainer specializing in TechEdge AIX who will conduct Instructor Led Trainings (ILT) for intermediate and advanced courses for internal staff. This role involves delivering training, developing and updating training materials, and managing student progress and schedules.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct monthly Intermediate ILT sessions focused on UVA Modeling.
• Deliver monthly Advanced ILT covering Data Collection Plans including process types, equipment templates, equipment drivers, sensors, events, faults, and constants.
• Regularly update ILT training materials and Web Based Training (WBT) courses provided through AGU.
• Manage training schedules, coordinate student registrations, monitor completions, and grade participants.
• Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-initiation.
• Travel up to 50% of the time, approximately two weeks per month for ILT delivery.

Educational & Business Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment hardware or process preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of AIX Analytics, AIX Dashboard, process and equipment configurations.
• Familiarity with internal customer operational models and the Field Service Organization Account Team's service business.
• Strong understanding of key business drivers to achieve work objectives.

Technical Expertise

• Proficient with AIX reporting and latest release features.
• Basic understanding of advanced analytics, Fault Defect Classification (FDC), and related applications.
• Expertise in at least one Business Unit, with knowledge of customer high-value processes (HVPs).
• Experience with high-volume 300mm and/or display manufacturing preferred.
• At least 2 years hardware experience on one fab tool type; process knowledge on at least one tool preferred.
• Prior experience in training or mentoring others.

Problem-Solving & Interpersonal Skills

• Use advanced analytics to resolve straightforward technical problems.
• Collaborate with technical experts to address knowledge gaps.
• Analyze potential solutions with sound technical judgment.
• Communicate moderately complex information clearly in simple situations.

• Full-time position based in Singapore.
