Job description
Main Purpose of the Role
The role involves executing and supporting diverse aircraft base maintenance tasks, such as inspections, troubleshooting, and correcting defects in line with approved maintenance procedures. The objective is to maintain aircraft integrity regarding safety, dependability, and compliance with regulations.
Primary Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled aircraft base maintenance activities including C-checks, modifications, and repairs following authorized documentation and guidelines.
- Conduct unscheduled base maintenance addressing troubleshooting and rectifying defects per approved procedures and documentation.
- Ensure accurate completion of all documents like work cards, technical logs, defect repairs, and modifications consistent with company policies and procedures.
- Use proper tools, equipment, and follow the Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM) and other sanctioned instructions during maintenance tasks.
- Initiate parts requests for defects and manage the ordering process to ensure AMOS system data is precise.
- Assist in other maintenance operations such as line maintenance, minor repairs, and Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery, adhering strictly to maintenance guidelines.
- Support aircraft operational movements including towing, marshalling, docking, refueling, and engine ground runs.
- Report any safety, quality, or performance issues promptly to relevant departments.
- Champion the Safety Management System (SMS) promoting a culture of safety, regulatory adherence, and ongoing enhancement within the maintenance team.
- Encourage effective teamwork and communication across shifts and departments to ensure smooth workflow and minimize disruptions.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completion of high school education.
- Formal training in aeronautical maintenance.
- Proficiency in English for effective communication.
- Minimum 1 year experience in the aeronautical sector involving tasks related to aircraft, component, or workshop maintenance.
- Total relevant experience between 2 to 4 years.

Information Security Requirements
