Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software QA Engineer to spearhead test strategy across our products. This role merges advanced test engineering skills with cross-functional collaboration involving product and engineering teams to ensure confidence in every release.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and development of test strategies for major features and product releases.
- Design and maintain reliable automated test frameworks covering web, mobile, and API platforms.
- Perform performance, load, and security testing as required.
- Provide mentorship to junior QA team members and conduct thorough test coverage reviews.
- Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to define quality standards.
- Promote ongoing enhancement of quality assurance processes and tooling.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of three years' experience in software quality assurance with a strong emphasis on automation.
- Proficient in test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, and Appium.
- Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Experience in API testing and performance testing tools like JMeter and k6.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control workflows.
- Excellent written communication skills along with disciplined bug reporting.
