Role Overview

As a C++ Software Engineer, you will be part of a high-performing core engineering team tasked with developing and refining the systems connecting trading algorithms to global financial exchanges. This role suits engineers who excel in low-latency, high-efficiency environments and enjoy tackling intricate technical challenges at scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and develop high-performance trading systems that interface directly with global exchanges.
  • Create and enhance low-latency infrastructure for capturing market data and executing orders efficiently.
  • Optimize systems through advanced network programming and systems-level techniques.
  • Build platforms for accessing historical data and running large-scale trading simulations.
  • Develop analytical tools aimed at detecting patterns and refining trading strategies.
  • Design and implement risk management frameworks and performance tracking systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience in C++ software development.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design principles.
  • Demonstrated capability to write scalable and performance-optimized code.
  • Experience working in environments where performance and low latency are critical; prior trading industry experience is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced team.

Desired (But Not Essential) Skills

  • Familiarity with Linux operating systems and network programming protocols such as TCP/IP and UDP.
  • Experience with Python or shell scripting languages.
  • Exposure to distributed systems or high-throughput computing environments.
