Senior Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead strategic projects within our organization, fostering collaboration between business and technology sectors to achieve significant outcomes. The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual experienced in managing complex initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery in an Agile framework.

As part of the Vensure Innovation team, you will be responsible for overseeing project plans, coordinating resources across departments, managing risks, and regularly updating senior leadership. Your role will be crucial in driving innovation, continuous improvement, and guiding teams to adopt best practices for efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring clear alignment on objectives, scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project sponsors, business executives, and stakeholders to establish project goals and success metrics.
• Maintain active stakeholder engagement and transparent communication throughout project phases.
• Mentor project teams on Agile and Scrum frameworks and methodologies.
• Create and update comprehensive project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables using tools like Smartsheet or equivalents.
• Lead project meetings, workshops, and status update sessions.
• Identify project risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, tracking and mitigating them proactively.
• Monitor project progress, addressing any barriers to ensure timely and successful outcomes.
• Act as the main communication bridge between project teams and senior management with updates, risk reporting, and escalation handling.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and automation to enhance project management processes and team efficiency.
• Work cross-functionally to build consensus and support change initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Over 7 years of corporate experience, including at least 3 years specifically in project management leading cross-functional projects.
• Proven background managing projects within Agile/Scrum software development settings.
• Strong capabilities in project strategy, stakeholder relations, risk management, and change leadership.
• Familiarity with project management software such as Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Adept at organizing and prioritizing multiple tasks in fast-paced environments.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational aptitude.
• Experience incorporating AI technologies to boost productivity and project outcomes.
• Quick adaptability to new technologies and evolving business processes.

Preferred Credentials

• PMP certification is a plus.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) designation preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher education level is preferred.
• Experience in digital transformation, process optimization, or technology-centric initiatives is advantageous.
