Role Overview
The Resourcing Coordinator plays a key role in managing workforce planning systems to generate precise and efficient Daily Shift Rosters and Duty Sheets, guaranteeing optimal allocation of staff resources each day. This position requires adaptability to dynamic situations and ensures compliance with the relevant Enterprise Agreement while considering specific departmental needs to achieve the best outcomes for the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, distribute, and update daily shift schedules and duty sheets aligned with business requirements.
- Handle sick leave notifications during workforce planning operational hours, arrange necessary coverage, and update rosters accordingly.
- Evaluate daily shift rosters to detect inefficiencies or staffing shortfalls, applying best practices to labour management.
- Serve as the initial point of contact for team member inquiries regarding daily operational rostering through phone and email; prioritize and address these queries appropriately.
- Rectify any roster errors or violations reported by VR work rules to ensure full compliance before finalizing and publishing shift rosters.
- Conduct ongoing audits and maintain accuracy of data within the Virtual Roster system, aligning it with departmental records and requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 1 to 2 years of experience in workforce, scheduling, or rostering roles.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills and effective engagement with various stakeholders.
- Have sharp analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to manage scheduling challenges.
- Showcase meticulous attention to detail and capability to perform well under pressure while adhering to deadlines.
- Familiarity with Virtual Roster or comparable rostering software is beneficial but not mandatory.
Additional Information
This position offers both permanent and fixed-term contracts. The role requires working on a rotating roster with shifts scheduled between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM, including weekends (Monday through Sunday).
