As a Remote Travel Coordinator and Vacation Planner, you will support clients through researching, planning, and securing their travel plans while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the entire experience.

This role is a remote independent contractor position offering flexibility in scheduling, ideal for those passionate about travel and helping others, eager to acquire new skills, and capable of working autonomously.

No prior travel industry experience is necessary as comprehensive training, resources, and ongoing assistance will be provided to facilitate learning and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with vacation planning based on their preferences, requirements, and budget constraints
• Conduct research on various destinations, resorts, cruises, vacation packages, transportation options, and more
• Create and present tailored travel quotes and itineraries
• Make travel bookings using authorized suppliers and booking systems
• Maintain continuous communication with clients before, during, and after the booking process
• Keep accurate records of client details and reservations
• Manage payment processes, monitor deadlines, and oversee final payment schedules
• Stay updated on supplier promotions, destination news, and travel guidelines
• Engage in training sessions and professional growth activities
• Foster and nurture positive relationships with clients
• Promote and expand your independent travel business

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Excellent communication and customer service proficiency
• Comfortable navigating computers, emails, and online platforms
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-motivated with effective time management skills
• Open to completing training and ongoing learning about the travel field
• Experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or the travel sector is advantageous but not mandatory
