Role Overview

This role is for a Full Stack Developer who will contribute to large, complex engineering initiatives for client platforms and marketplaces. The position calls for someone who stays close to emerging technologies, can work across the full delivery cycle, and is comfortable handling both design and coding responsibilities in an agile environment.

What You Will Do

• Build and support full stack solutions for large-scale digital platforms, marketplaces, and custom client products.
• Spend substantial time on hands-on design, coding, and end-to-end development work.
• Work in agile teams and deliver solutions that meet minimum system requirements while remaining efficient and scalable.
• Partner with power programmers, open-source communities, and technical user groups.
• Contribute to new platform and solution development, including co-creation of products for client needs.
• Translate business needs into application and database designs at both high and low levels.
• Design solution architecture on AWS and make sound technical decisions for implementation.
• Use AWS Aurora DB knowledge to help ensure effective data modelling and strong performance.
• Work with AWS Lambda, Python, GraphQL, and ReactJS as part of solution development.
• Provide technical direction to development squads, including guidance on design, reusability, and performance best practices.
• Create proof-of-concepts and foundation frameworks using AWS and Python.
• Maintain code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and automated testing practices.
• Monitor backend applications for scalability, reliability, and performance, and resolve issues through debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with frontend and other cross-functional teams to deliver complete end-to-end solutions.
• Review team outputs and coach members on engineering standards and best practices.
• Keep learning and contribute to open-source while staying current with modern technologies.

Required Skills and Knowledge

• Strong hands-on experience in Python and AWS.
• Working knowledge of full stack development and modern web application delivery.
• Experience with ReactJS and familiarity with GraphQL.
• Understanding of AWS Lambda and related best practices.
• Ability to design solutions and architectures for cloud-based systems.
• Knowledge of database design, especially with AWS Aurora DB.
• Comfort with unit testing, automated testing, and code review practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Exposure to agile development environments and collaborative engineering work.
• Preference for candidates with AWS certification.
