Role Overview

Step forward in your pricing career as a Pricing Analyst at IAG New Zealand, contributing insights via data analysis and problem-solving to influence portfolio performance and promote growth. Collaborate with experienced professionals to drive pricing initiatives across various brands, enhancing your analytical skills. Your responsibilities will include reviewing performance trends, assisting in rate adjustments, and discovering growth opportunities within data, all to foster improved outcomes for customers and the business. This full-time permanent position is based in Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland), Te Whanganui-a-Tara (Wellington), or Ōtautahi (Christchurch).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pricing analyses and operational pricing tasks that align with portfolio success and strategic business goals.
• Perform rate reviews and handle ad hoc pricing requests promptly and accurately.
• Track portfolio performance post-pricing revisions, uncovering trends and insights to guide future decisions.
• Produce and interpret analytics to enhance business outcomes and drive profitable portfolio expansion.
• Engage with stakeholders across teams to grasp priorities and aid informed decision-making.
• Support risk management, compliance efforts, and uphold pricing principles alongside governance standards.

Candidate Profile

• Possess a degree in mathematics, statistics, science, or a related analytical discipline.
• Exhibit strong problem-solving abilities and skillfully interpret data to draw significant conclusions.
• Demonstrate excellent communication capabilities and a collaborative mindset.
• Maintain high attention to detail while effectively managing multiple concurrent priorities.
• Bring a proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for growing analytical expertise.
• Have experience with or a readiness to develop skills in analytical tools such as R, SAS, SQL, or Tableau.
• Previous experience in an analytical role is advantageous but not mandatory.
