Position Overview

At SSP America, our Utility team plays a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across our restaurant units, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a positive guest environment by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing all workspaces.
• Keep all surfaces and equipment spotless, including floors, walls, ceilings, windows, worktables, vents, grills, refrigerators, service counters, and storage areas.
• Dispose of waste properly by relocating refuse to designated areas.
• Clear and prepare dining tables between seatings and transport service ware to the kitchen.
• Scrape food residue from dishes, pots, and pans, wash them manually or via dishwasher, and organize their storage.
• Use specific chemicals and, at times, heavy equipment to meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Assist guests with particular requests and promptly communicate any special needs to servers or supervisors.
• Load and unload supplies from delivery trucks and organize storage and work areas accordingly.
• Stock food items, monitoring expiration dates and temperatures to ensure freshness and safety.
• Perform other tasks as assigned to support efficient operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least six months of experience in retail or food service environments is required.
• High school diploma is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English are necessary for effective guest interaction and following instructions.
• Experience handling guest service challenges is beneficial.
• Possession of a food handler's permit as mandated by law.
• Compliance with brand certification requirements.
• Capability to recall and promote various menu items to guests.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in confined spaces.
