Role Overview
The Payroll Trainee will play a supporting role within payroll operations, assisting in the accumulation, validation, and processing of employee payroll records. This position collaborates closely with HR and Payroll departments to ensure precision in employee data, attendance tracking, payroll inputs, and adherence to statutory requirements. This opportunity is designed to provide practical experience in payroll administration, HR workflows, and employee data handling, while fostering analytical and organizational capabilities in a professional setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in gathering and verifying attendance, leave, and payroll-related information of employees.
- Assist in the execution of monthly payroll processes ensuring the accuracy of entries.
- Manage and update employee records and payroll documentation, including assistance in creating payroll summaries, reconciliations, and MIS reports.
- Liaise with HR and Finance teams to coordinate payroll inputs and address employee concerns.
- Participate in compliance activities related to statutory regulations such as PF, ESI, PT, and TDS.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding employee payroll information.
- Aid in onboarding procedures and the maintenance of employee documentation as needed.
- Perform additional HR and payroll-related administrative duties as assigned by the team.
Candidate Profile
- Recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of experience holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
- Foundational knowledge of payroll principles and HR operational processes.
- Competent with Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools, with solid analytical and numerical aptitude.
- Strong organizational skills combined with keen attention to detail.
- Effective verbal and interpersonal communication capabilities.
